Crystal brings forth a broad range of experiences in education, research, business, and administration, as well as a passion for higher education. Prior to joining BHER, Crystal worked with an educational technology company called Typist to develop an innovative software for postsecondary students and faculty. She has also held roles in public education and non-profit sectors as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, Computers Instructor, and Research Assistant.

Crystal holds a BASc in Child, Youth & Family from the University of Guelph, and a diploma in Executive Office Administration from Seneca College.
