QUOTES:
Anthony Viel, CEO, Deloitte Canada
“At Deloitte, we understand the sudden disruption education systems have faced in recent years, including the need to rapidly evolve to meet new needs of the digital age. These challenges are magnified by the immediate and medium-term skills shortage in many areas critical to Canada’s ability to thrive in 2030. We look forward to tackling issues such as speed to workforce readiness, financial and operational efficiency, campus evolution and student engagement alongside BHER and its members.”
Benoit-Antoine Bacon, President and Vice-Chancellor, Carleton University
“At Carleton, we recognize the value of partnerships in challenging what’s possible and making our world a better place. Joining BHER will create synergies that will help grow the talent, research, and innovation that our country needs to drive social and economic renewal.”
Laura-Jo Gunter, President and CEO, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology
“We look forward to working with the Business + Higher Education Roundtable, to tackle the issues facing our campus and community - especially when it comes to building skills for our students and boosting the potential for business innovation."
