Seneca Polytechnic Joins BHER to Advance Experiential Learning and Industry Collaboration

The Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER) is excited to welcome Seneca Polytechnic to our growing membership as it continues to enhance experiential learning and career services to help Seneca’s students find success in the workplace.

Seneca is a leading polytechnic institution with campuses across the Greater Toronto Area and in Peterborough. While already recognized for its work in hands-on learning and practical skills training, Seneca’s investment in their career support team, Seneca Works, reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening its strategic approach to connecting students to industry.

Guided by Seneca’s 2023-2026 strategic plan, “The Next,” Seneca Works has four focus areas: experiential learning; career-ready programming and skills development; entrepreneurship and industry engagement; and global learning and engagement.

“Our new BHER membership enables us to enhance our commitment to experiential learning and support our ability to match students with top employers,” says David Agnew, President of Seneca Polytechnic. “We offer students what they need to be career-ready and world-ready. Through our BHER membership and other activities, Seneca Polytechnic will continue to ensure our students are prepared with the skills needed for successful careers.”
