Centennial College

Centennial College, founded in 1966, is Ontario's first public college. Anchored primarily in the eastern part of the Greater Toronto Area, the College is renowned for its outstanding teaching, creative curriculum, and robust network of partnerships. Centennial annually welcomes thousands of full-time and part-time students from across the GTA, Canada, and the world. These students pursue their education in diploma, certificate, and degree programs across various fields, including business, media, arts, community and consumer services, engineering technology, health care, and transportation.

Dr. Craig Stephenson President and CEO

Dr. Craig Stephenson was appointed President and CEO of Centennial College in 2019, bringing leadership experience across three countries and multiple post-secondary institutions. He has strengthened industry and community partnerships, expanded scholarships and experiential work-integrated learning, and advanced equity and initiatives addressing anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism and Truth and Reconciliation. Under his leadership, Centennial has earned recognition among the GTA’s Top Employers, Forbes’ Best Employers in Canada, and Canada’s Greenest Employers. A recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pin and King Charles Coronation Medal, he is committed to advancing opportunity in Scarborough and building an inclusive, resilient college that contributes to Canada’s future.
