Ayman Antoun CEO
Ayman Antoun is Chief Executive Officer of OpenText Corporation, a global leader in data management for enterprise AI. With over 35 years of international technology leadership, he is recognized for transformative leadership and building client partnerships that drive results.
At OpenText, he leads a global team dedicated to empowering organizations to achieve impactful outcomes with enterprise AI, leveraging their trusted data and OpenText’s innovative cloud solutions. Before joining OpenText, Ayman held global and regional executive roles at IBM, most recently serving as President of IBM Americas. There, he led a multi-billion-dollar enterprise spanning the United States, Canada, and Latin America, driving strategy, growth, and large-scale business transformation across all major industries.
He previously served as President of IBM Canada and led IBM’s Global Technology Services. Ayman has extensive experience advancing complex digital initiatives in both the private and public sectors and has built enduring partnerships with governments at all levels, including as the firm’s partnership executive for the Government of Canada. Ayman serves on the boards of OpenText and TD Bank Group, contributing expertise in enterprise technology, human resources, operations, cybersecurity, and digital innovation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive program in financial analysis, business management, and strategic planning. He grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, where OpenText was founded and remains headquartered. He is based in Toronto and Waterloo.
