The goal of this partnership between BHER and the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) was to create ongoing WIL opportunities that connected Capilano University (CapU) students with local businesses through a semester-long design challenge.
The design challenge was facilitated by NNVCC and carried out via CapU courses with curricular WIL components. The result was a mutually beneficial and ongoing partnership between NVCC and CapU, a significant value add to students and businesses, and an opportunity to replicate the program in other regional areas across the Sea to Sky corridor.
