Through this partnership with BHER, the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre (RRCRC) was able to provide access to physical spaces, specialized digital design, fabrication tools, and a WIL Coordinator.
Algonquin College promoted the WIL program to the campus community and assisted the WIL Coordinator in supporting individual student WIL experiences. The goal of this partnership with RRCRC was to provide quality WIL experiences for Indigenous students based on the interconnection between 21st century digital tools of design and production and the traditions and culture associated with Indigenous craft, knowledge systems, and worldviews.
