This project establishes a national consortium model led by Tech-Access Canada to expand access to applied research-based WIL across regional and francophone institutions through coordinated industry engagement and project matching. Students are embedded in real-world innovation projects with SMEs, conducting prototyping, testing, and commercialization activities. This approach expands placement capacity, strengthens SME innovation, and builds a distributed, cross-provincial talent pipeline.
