Founded in 1785, the University of New Brunswick offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 60 disciplines and continuing education in a variety of fields.
Its mission is to inspire and educate their students to become problem solvers and leaders in the world, undertake research that addresses societal and scientific challenges, and engage with partners to build a more just, sustainable and inclusive world. This partnership between BHER and the University of New Brunswick engaged around 50 industry partners to support WIL opportunities. These opportunities supported rural and remote communities, prioritized engagement with SMEs, and supported underrepresented students' access to WIL through the development of collaborative partnerships, skill development programming, and WIL placement development.
