UBC is piloting a curriculum-embedded WIL model within its Continuing Education portfolio, creating an opportunity to test WIL delivery in upskilling contexts beyond traditional post-secondary programs. The project embeds structured, credit-bearing WIL into the Associateship in Equitable Systems Design certification, enabling adult learners to apply EDI and systems-design skills through assessed, team-based consulting projects addressing real employer-defined challenges.
