Alana Armas Research Manager

Prior to joining BHER, Alana led community-based research initiatives focused on accessibility and inclusion at March of Dimes Canada with the aim to embed evidence-informed practices in program development and delivery, policies, and strategic planning. She has previously worked at Sinai Health conducting health services research, focusing on integrated care practices. Alana is also passionate about knowledge mobilization, working to engage and collaborate with stakeholders and communities to put knowledge into practice.

Alana holds a MSc in Public Health and Health Systems and a BA in Honours Anthropology from the University of Waterloo. She also holds a certificate in Knowledge Mobilization from the University of Guelph.
