Andrew Bieler Director, Strategic Partnerships & Development

As Director, Strategic Partnerships & Development at the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), Andrew supports BHER's growth, influence, and long-term sustainability by cultivating partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and advancing strategic initiatives that align with the organization's mission and strategic plan.

Prior to joining BHER, Andrew led national consultations on work-integrated learning and managed a research portfolio on experiential learning at the Conference Board of Canada. He has previously held senior research roles at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) and The Sustainability and Education Policy Network. You can find his writing on education and skills in the Journal of Education for Sustainable Development, Canadian Journal of Higher Education, Environmental Education Research, Sustainability, and Teachers College Record. Andrew holds a PhD from the Joint Program in Communication and Culture at York University and Toronto Metropolitan University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Saskatchewan.
