Carmela Busi R&D Associate

Carmela is an R&D Associate at the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), where she supports the development and delivery of projects related to work-integrated learning (WIL) in the areas of upskilling and reskilling, accessibility and inclusion, innovation and productivity, and more.  

During her time at Western University, she applied her passion for research and addressing policy challenges to her coursework. Her prior experience includes a research position with the Department of Justice Canada as well as roles in the financial services industry.

She holds a Master’s in Research for Policy and Evaluation from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University.
