Jackie Tarka Content Intern

Jackie is a Content Intern at BHER, where she supports research, content development, and stakeholder engagement related to work-integrated learning (WIL) and Canada’s evolving skills and talent landscape. Her work includes environmental scanning, synthesizing research, and supporting content production and outreach activities.

She is currently a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Guelph, with specializations in Computer Science and International Development.

During her graduate studies, Jackie has applied her interest in Canadian public policy through consulting work with the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants, where she analyzed immigration trends in Ontario and assessed how policy decisions shape demographic and labour market outcomes. She brings a strong interest in the intersection of education, workforce development, and inclusive economic growth.
