Laurel Munroe Senior Lead, Program Design and Engagement

Laurel is the Senior Lead, Program Design and Engagement, with the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER).

She brings deep experience in strategic and crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, government, and the post-secondary sector.

Laurel began her career in journalism and went on to spend a decade serving in senior communications roles with premiers and federal cabinet ministers. Most recently, Laurel was Senior Director, Communications and Public Relations with Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS. 

She is adept at balancing multiple competing priorities in complex environments, and organizing and hosting events.
