Olivia Band Communications Intern

Olivia is a Communications Intern at BHER, supporting the Manager of Communications through research, environmental scanning, and synthesizing insights to inform our content strategy. Her work includes content ideation, production workflows, and amplifying content through social media, announcements, and other communications materials.  

During her time at McMaster University, Olivia worked on several projects evaluating the Canadian healthcare system and healthcare policy. She then applied her passion for addressing policy challenges by collaborating with local community groups to raise awareness of the Hamilton Opioid Crisis.

Olivia is in the process of completing a Master's of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto, and has previously completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society and Political Science at McMaster University.
