Sunny Chan Senior Content Specialist

As the Senior Content Specialist for the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), Sunny translates and mobilizes knowledge, and ensures the development and delivery of insightful content about the skills, talent, and innovation ecosystem for BHER’s members and audience.

Prior to BHER, she led the creation and implementation of Toronto Metropolitan University's first ever Faculty of Arts co-operative education program, and continues to teach creative writing for Programs 50+ at TMU's Chang School of Continuing Education. Her time at TMU also included a leadership role in the development of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) training. In addition, she is a professional academic editor, poetry reviewer, and visual artist specializing in linocut printmaking. Her writing has been published in Contemporary Literature, Arc Poetry Magazine, Palette Poetry, The Puritan, Barrelhouse, Ricepaper, University of Washington Press, and more.

She holds a PhD in English literary studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
