Tom Young Junior R&D Associate

Tom is a Junior R&D Associate at the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), where he supports the development and delivery of research projects related to Canada’s work-integrated learning (WIL) ecosystem.

He is currently pursuing his PhD, specializing in post-secondary education in Canada, at the University of Toronto - Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). At OISE, he has worked on a review of the Strategic Mandate Agreements in Ontario to see how different institutions are incorporating WIL into their programs, and comparing the different levels of support that faculty receive from their departments as they include experiential learning in their curricula.
