Tullia Leone Senior Research Associate

Tullia is a Senior Research Associate at the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), where she leads applied research to drive change in Canada’s skills, education, and employment systems, including projects related to work-integrated learning (WIL), disability inclusion, and navigating the AI revolution.

Her prior experience includes over a decade of working in partnership with government and non-profit organizations to improve outcomes for diverse communities. She has extensive expertise in program evaluation and using mixed-methods research to generate evidence to shape policy and practice. A key focus of her work involves effective knowledge mobilization—translating research into practical insights and bridging the gap between evidence and action within organizations and across systems. She has held roles as a Senior Research Advisor in the Ontario Public Service and founded her own successful research consultancies.

She holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Toronto.
