Dalhousie University Student Working at En Point

A Marketing and Business Growth Intern at En Point got the chance to work with diverse organizations across Atlantic Canada. Here is what they got out of the experience, in their own words:

"I am a fourth year Global Management student at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Currently, I am a Marketing and Business Growth intern at En Point and I'm loving my experience. I have been able to create marketing materials, work on sales pieces and client engagement, and work with some fascinating organizations across Atlantic Canada. I am originally from the west coast of Vancouver, BC and started my university career in Marketing at Langara College in 2015. Fast forward to 2020, I have completed two years of my undergrad at Dalhousie University and have worked in both nonprofit and for profit organizations, in a variety of industries. Atlantic Canada has brought nature and a sense of community into my life. I have been fortunate to be able to leverage my skills in being VP Academic of the Dalhousie Management Society, by serving on the Student Academic Appeals Committee, and by helping create business case competitions for the Rowe school of business, as well as competing internationally. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, sports and art. You can find me playing volleyball, swimming, or drawing. My plan is to do work in consulting, advertising or in human rights and advocacy and work in different countries, immersing myself in a variety of cultures after graduation. My school and broad career journey has brought me many opportunities and I encourage others to do the same. You never know where a life or work connection will bring you!"
