Here at the Memorial Centre for Entrepreneurship (MCE), we believe that entrepreneurially-minded students learn best by doing. As such, experiential learning is embedded into all of MCE's programming, such as entrepreneurial work terms (semester-long work term where students work on their startup idea), entrepreneurial externships (entrepreneurial students placed within existing businesses to identify startup ideas), and access to an entrepreneur-in-residence. We completed 101 entrepreneurial work terms over the last four years and about 30 entrepreneurial externships.
