The Skilled Workforce Summit: Solving Canada's Labour Gap

Canadian Process Equipment and Control News Webinar

Those who work in the process manufacturing sector already understand supply chains better than most. The next supply chain they need to manage with the same skill and foresight is human talent.

On September 8th, BHER’s Director of Strategic Partnerships & Development, Andrew Bieler, will join the Canadian Process Equipment and Control News (CPECN) for a virtual webinar to present practical strategies for closing skills gaps and building a workforce ready for the future.

This presentation will bring together leaders in labour, hiring, and workforce development to explore how manufacturers, plant owners, and operators across Canada can attract, train, and retain the talent they need. Andrew will share insights on the benefits of work-integrated learning (WIL) and how efforts must be made to ensure that training, programming, and career pathways reflect current and future workforce needs.

Andrew Bieler and Sunny Chan, BHER’s Senior Content Specialist, recently published Managing Skills and Talent as a Critical Supply Chain in CPECN, where we share the critical steps needed for talent development in the process and equipment control sector.
