Memorial University is Newfoundland and Labrador’s only university. This partnership between BHER and Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador created 248 WIL opportunities for undergraduate students in the 2021-2022 academic year through micro-placements. In collaboration with industry organizations across the province, this endeavour targeted underrepresented groups such as equity-deserving students, rural, remote or Northern communities, Indigenous and international students, as well as entrepreneurial and small and medium enterprises.
