Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) worked closely with the College of the North Atlantic (CNA) and Professional Municipal Administrators (PMA) to match students and organize wraparound supports for students to jobs with municipalities. PMA worked to attract municipalities to participate in this initiative.
This project increased municipalities’ capacity to participate in WIL experiences and provided college students with exposure to the municipal sector, while showcasing municipalities as viable, desirable places for employment and career development.
