Université de Sherbrooke is establishing an AI-enabled employer engagement model to respond to rapidly evolving labour market conditions that are putting pressure on its ability to align COOP placements with employer demand. Using real-time labour market analysis and targeted outreach, the model identifies and mobilizes new and inactive employers, expanding placement capacity, improving skills alignment, and strengthening institutional systems for sustained WIL growth across Québec.
