Sunny Chan is BHER's Senior Content Specialist. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has over seven years of experience in career education and WIL. She led the creation and implementation of Toronto Metropolitan University's first ever Faculty of Arts co-operative education program, and continues to teach creative writing and career skills for Programs 50+ at TMU's Chang School of Continuing Education. Her time at TMU also included leadership roles in the development of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) training. In addition, she is a professional academic editor, poetry reviewer, and visual artist specializing in linocut printmaking. Her writing has been published in Contemporary Literature, Arc Poetry Magazine, Palette Poetry, The Puritan, Barrelhouse, Ricepaper, University of Washington Press, and more.
